Review by hotel critic
The hotel is in an ideal location just outside the old town, allowing for peaceful evenings after a day's exploration. The beautifully converted Palazzo, with its spacious rooms, was exactly as portrayed in the photos, offering a comfortable retreat. My morning ritual included enjoying the generous breakfast on the stunning rooftop terrace, where the fresh and diverse offerings more than justified the extra charge. It was a delightful way to start the day and an experience that felt distinctly Italian and exclusive. The communication from staff before my arrival was seamless, and Barbara, the host, ensured we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The presence of air conditioning and free Wi-Fi provided the necessary comforts, while the cozy sitting area and elegant design made the space inviting. The Palazzo strikes a solid balance between luxury and value. While it may not be the cheapest option in Lecce, the experience certainly aligns with the costs, offering both comfort and authenticity that every traveler should appreciate.
